The Lakeside Adventure Park was built in early 2011 and is the first high ropes course in Uganda. Designed for both amateurs and experienced participants of all ages and abilities, it brings the challenge and excitement of a tree-top adventure to the shores of Lake Victoria. The Camp is purposely built for youth related retreats as well as Team Building activities. It is located on a 6 acre plot with a private beach on the shores of Lake Victoria. The accommodation offers two well planned self contained dormitories sleeping a maximum of 15 persons per dormitory, with a comfortable lounge in the middle separating the two dormitories.
The beds were hand-crafted by the inhabitants of the surrounding community using local materials. The bathrooms are clean with flushing toilets and hot showers. The more adventurous and nature lovers can choose to have a shower under the open sky in a bamboo enclosed structure by a tree and use an eco-toilet.
