Nyinabulitwa Country Resort & Safari Camp
Conservation area for the adventurous & eco-conscious traveller with an interest in birds & primates

The resort is situated approximately 20 km’s outside Fort Portal in the western part of Uganda. It borders Kibale Forest National Park, one of the most beautiful tropical forests in the country with stunning bird and insect life and 13 species of primates, including a unique population of more than 1400 chimpanzees.

The forest also hosts forest elephants, buffaloes, bush pigs and duikers and a great variety of reptiles.

The resort makes an ideal base for safaris to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, host to the rare mountain gorilla, Murchison Falls National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park with 500 bird species, Rwenzori Mountains and Semliki National Park.

Although the climate is tropical, the place features clear and dry air owing to the relative high altitude, and is virtually mosquito free. A mean annual rainfall of more than 1200 mm combined with fertile volcanic soils ensure lush green vegetation throughout the year.
